Connect a provider
Aedex doesn't resell model access, and neither provider offers a sign-in that grants API access — so you bring a key from your own account. One click to the page that issues it, one paste, and we check it live against the provider before calling anything connected.
- The key stays in this browser, in local storage for this site. Disconnecting deletes it.
- It is sent as a request header — never a URL — over HTTPS, and forwarded only to https://api.anthropic.com. There is no custom base-URL option: an endpoint you can point anywhere is a way to leak a key, not a feature.
- Aedex never stores, caches or logs it on our servers, and never echoes it back to you — including in error messages. Nothing above shows more than the last four characters.
- Usage is billed to your Anthropic account. Issue a key scoped to a project you can revoke.

MCP servers
Registered tools the agent may call. Not yet connected — the live agent runs the built-in Aedex tool belt only, and these are stored as preferences until MCP is wired.
